Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm the oldest of six. I like to fence, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in North Carolina, and I've lived in Luxembourg, Virginia, and South Carolina since then. I have three sisters and two brothers. I am an eagle scout, and I like camping and the outdoors. I also like to fence, and I like computers. I am a student at Brigham Young University, and I am preparing to serve a mission in Medellin, Colombia.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that it's true. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought peace and happiness in my life, and I am a better person for it. My faith lets me know of my purpose in life, and helps me to fulfill it. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know the church is lead by a living prophet, and I am glad to know that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us, and wants us to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings, reading the scriptures, and just trying to be more like the Savior. It is often difficult, and I'm not perfect so sometimes I fail, but I keep trying to be a better person. I have also served in several leadership callings as a youth, and I am preparing to serve a full time mission to share the message of the gospel and help others have the joy that it has brought me in my life.
