Hi I'm Adam Shupe

I enjoy skiing and being outdoors! Family is the highest priority...I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am 20 years old and have lived in Utah my whole life! I am enrolled at BYU-Provo and am currently on an LDS mission in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. My major is Chemical engineering but that might change. The outdoors attract me. Waterskiing, snowskiing, trail running, along with off-road motorcycling are very fun for me! My family means everything to me and i love spending time with them. I love them so much especially my deceased grandparents who i know i will see again.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Heavenly Father loves us and knows each one of us personally. We all have a personal relationship with Him and can talk to him it any place at any time. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world that gives all an opportunity to live with Heavenly Father again. Through Jesus Christ our families can be together forever. The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought back divine truths to accomplish this. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet to restore those truths and he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. This sacred text is complimentary to the bible and has brought me closer to Heavenly Father than any other book. Most of all the Holy Ghost has testified to me over time and persistence that this Gospel is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. Those feelings can never be denied or replaced.

How I live my faith

I am going to be honest. The first eighteen years of my life i did not live my faith. I went to church but didn't put that much into it so i never received much in return. That was a huge mistake. As i have been serving as a full time LDS missionary i have come to realize the blessings Heavenly Father has given me and the love that He always has for His children. I now live my faith by always striving to be a good example to others and to help people come closer to the Savior. "You get out what you put in".
