Hi I'm Brooke Marra

I love to laugh. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Florida with my family for my entire life. My older sister has been an incredible example to me growing up and, even though he is younger than me, I look up to my little brother as well. They drove me to try to be the best I can be which was part of what led me to Brigham Young University-Idaho. I went to school there for a year and while I was there I decided to serve a full time mission. I am serving in the Oregon Salem Mission and I have the privilege of teaching the gospel in the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

A lot of people may think that I am a Mormon because my parents are and I was raised that way, but that is not the case. We all have our own agency and the ability to choose whatever we may choose. I am a Mormon because I know of the truthfulness of this church. I have received a feeling of completeness from it. I have felt the Holy Spirit telling me that it is true. Every part of it. I know it without a doubt in my mind. And for that reason, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by counting my blessings. By trying my best to keep the commandments and using the Atonement in my life when I fall short. I live my faith by doing what I feel the spirit tell me instead of doing what I want to do. It led me to a church school. It led me to serve a mission. It has led me to the happiest point I have ever been at in my life and I know that as everyone follows it they will be happier than ever as well. I live my faith by sharing the gospel. I want people to know the things that I know. The happiness that I feel. So as I serve my mission and share the gospel my goal is to bring people unto Christ.
