Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in West Jordan. I was in hair school but took a break to serve The Lord.

About Me

I have lived in West Jordan, Utah my whole life. I have started on my career path and fulfillment of my dream of becoming a cosmetologist. I have 500 out of 2000 hours, I have taken a break from that so I can serve The Lord on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have definitely have had struggles and I went inactive for a while and when President Monson announced the age change for the women to go on missions I knew right then and there that I was going to serve a mission. As I was coming back for inactivity I felt the love of Christ come back to me, though it had never left me I couldn't feel it at the time. I believe in this gospel and the teachings of the Book of Mormon. President Monson is a true Prophet of God. I love this gospel and what it has taught me and I am so grateful for the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father again for all time and eternity and I know and I'm so grateful that I will see my family again. Because of this wonderful gospel I don't fear death from this mortal life because I know what is on the other side if I live righteously. I feel the love that The Lord and our Heavenly Father has for us and I don't want to lose that feeling again. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve a mission. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

When I was in young women's, a group for girls 12-18, I have had opportunities to be a leader among the girls. There are three groups for the ages: beehives, miamaids, and laurels. Each year I have been called to be in the presidency of each group. From secretary to the president. Being the president has taught me how to lead and be responsible. As the president I had to go to a meeting every first Sunday of the month and meet with all the other presidents of the young women and men and the bishop and tell him what we are planning on doing that month for the activities we do every Wednesday night. Now that I am out of the young women program I have planned a mission.
