Hi I'm Jordan Wood

I love playing sports. I love my family. I am a Texan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the England London South Mission. When I return I will go to college at Brigham Young University in Provo. I love to play sports whether it is baseball, football, or basketball. I also love to dirt bike in my free time. I am an active kid and have 4 other siblings. I have the best family in the world, who are so supportive of me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is what I should be. It helps families become closer and helps me become a better person. Being a Mormon isn't a selfish thing it is a selfless thing. I know that it can make me become the man I want to be as long as I keep doing what I should. I love how the church is there for anyone who needs it. It doesn't discriminate or eliminate certain people. It is all encompassing. The church brings happiness into every member of my family's life and I can see it. People notice a good feeling and attitude about people that are Mormon.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by helping with the challenger activities. Challenger is an organization that helps kids with learning disabilities play sports. We play soccer, baseball, swim, and other activities. I love playing with the kids, and I have learned so much from them. I also go and visit my home teaching families every month to check on them. My father and I give them a lesson and see what we can do to help their family. I have also participated in the community by going around the city when a hurricane came and cleaning up the debris.
