Hi I'm Curtis

I pursue happiness, strive for laughter and aspire to cultivate smiles! :) Be happy! It's a wonderful life! :D

About Me

I'm Curtis Rok Mason and I'm pretty much your average small town kid! I loved growing up in a small community where I was able to be close to a lot of people. I LOVE SPORTS! I love to hang with friends, doing things like wake-boarding, playing basketball, baseball, riding four wheelers, hiking, repelling, camping, cliff jumping, hunting, swimming, snowboarding, mountain biking, hanging out and finding other ways to entertain ourselves in the beautiful Utah mountains and desert! I love to laugh and try my best to make people smile! Usually they are laughing at me and not with me...it counts though! ;D I recently had a friend who said "Make someone smile and count that as a success"! I also love music! I try to play the guitar a little but mostly I just sing all the time! I try to be somewhat of a writer, sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't! After my mission I guess I'll go to school and get married and have babies, all that good stuff! To be honest I'm just a 20 year old kid who struggles and makes mistakes like everyone else. What truly makes me special doesn't at all make me unique. It is the fact that I have a loving Savior who helps me to overcome my weakness' and loves me despite my many faults!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was baptized when I was eight, however, I go to church and continue to keep my covenants because I know that this church is true and I have a strong testimony of that because of the happiness it has brought me throughout my life. I don't want to know what my life would be like without this gospel. I am so very thankful for all that the Lord does for me! I am a Mormon because I know that this church is the church of Jesus Christ established on the earth today!

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith by serving a full-time mission in West Virginia! Another way I live my faith is by holding myself to the standards of the church and honoring the covenants that I have made. Through making and keeping sacred covenants I show my Father in Heaven the that I'm willing to do those things that will allow me to live in his presence here after. As I do this I feel closer to the Lord and feel a greater sense of belonging in the life that I live here on earth!

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Curtis
When a LDS Missionary comes to your house to talk they will talk about a lot of different things, but, they are all centered around Jesus Christ! As missionaries it is our purpose to invite other people to come unto him and learn about him! We love to share the message of his gospel and show how it can bless and relate to you and your family!!! Show more Show less
