Hi I'm Amy Riding

I grew up in Dallas, Texas. I love good food, books, and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to hike, play piano, swim, sing, watch movies, read and spend time with my family & friends. Most of all, I love being outside. I love food, thunderstorms, the color yellow, and roller coasters. I am the middle child of seven kids so I grew up in a noisy household but I loved it!

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel so much. It has brought me much peace in times of adversity. I am also grateful for the chance to repent of my sins through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, because none of us is perfect. We all make mistakes and it makes sense to me that God would prepare a way for us to return to Him even without being perfect. He loves us and He wants us to to be eternally happy. By becoming a member of this church, I have felt God's love for me in a different way than I could ever have comprehended. I know that He wants the best for me, so I want to do everything I can to live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I am so grateful for this church. I will be serving a mission for the next 18 months in Everett, Washington, preaching the gospel in the Spanish language. I live my faith by praying for opportunities to share Christ's love with others. I am continuously striving to become a positive influence on those around me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Amy Riding
Yes, Mormons are Christians! Christians are people who strive to follow Jesus Christ and just like other Christians, we believe that He is the Son of God and we try to center our lives around His teachings. Show more Show less
