Hi I'm Amberly

I married my best friend in 2011 and we have been diagnosed with infertility, and I am Mormon.

About Me

I currently work as a staff accountant to put my husband through school. I enjoy reading, doing crafts, scrapbooking, cooking, sleeping, and spending time with my husband, family and friends. I married my husband in May 2011 and 9 months later lost twins from an ectopic pregnancy. Seven months later my husband was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma brain tumor and had brain surgery December 2012 to remove the tumor. We have also recently been diagnosed with infertility and are currently struggling through that. Please visit our blog or contact us to find out more.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel has brought so much hope and peace to my life and keeps me going on a daily basis. We have had many trials come to us since our marriage in May 2011. When we lost our twins from the ectopic pregnancy, I was very discouraged and confused but we were able to turn to the Lord for help and guidance through that time. When my husband was diagnosed with the brain tumor it was a very scary time for us. We didn't know what was going to happen. We were able to gain a greater testimony of the power of prayer and fasting as so many family and friends participated in prayers and fasting on my husband's behalf. It once again brought peace, comfort, and hope during such a hard time. With our recent diagnosis of infertility it has also brought us such a comforting perspective to know that Heavenly Father is with us in all that we are going through. In all of this we have seen miracles happen. We have been able to feel Heavenly Father's love for us and He has carried us through all the hard times. The gospel gives us so much hope for our future.

How I live my faith

My husband and I look for chances to serve others around us. We try to help out however we can. We currently have a calling as Webelos scout leaders in our ward. We have also been ward missionaries. We try to build our relationship each day with our Heavenly Father through prayers and studying the scriptures.
