Hi I'm Daelen

Born in LA, and ended up in Utah. A gamer, and a piper. Currently serving in the California Irvine Mission. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I absolutely love music, listening to and playing it. I play both the Viola and Great Highland Bagpipes, the viola when I was 11,the pipes when I was in high school. Also love reading just about anything, scriptures, novels, etc. I miss going to school, went to college for a little bit with a declared major in Political Science. Hoping to go to Law School,or Med School,we'll see what happens. When I'm not piping with my band or reading, I'm spending time with my friends usually playing some videogames(Halo, Zelda, Smash Bros and AC, what's up? :). All in all, an average young adult male.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into what was originally an LDS family. After a while, however, most everyone fell away. Some just became inactive, while others found other faiths entirely. I continue to be Mormon because of the promises of the prophets, which the Book of Mormon is replete with. Follow Christ and you shall overcome trials, and have peace, or the word of God will tell you all things whatsoever you should do. I've tried these out, and honestly, it works.Through his atonement, sins can be forgiven. Trials can be overcome. He'll support us through anything. God loves each and every one of us. He has restored his church through Joseph Smith. There are living Prophets on the Earth again. The main thing, though, is that through the temple, those that didn't have a chance to hear the gospel on Earth, can have the opportunity in the hereafter. Also through the temple, families can be together forever. Such things are a comfort to my soul, and bring joy and hope to my heart. Awesome, right?

How I live my faith

I love home teaching, partly because my companions are awesome, partly because I get to talk to and teach awesome people. I do help out with the youth occasionally, and that in and of itself is a treat! I Especially love sharing music with the people in my ward and stake, piping and singing for all matter of events. By far serving a full time mission in SoCal is the best decision anyone could make!
