Hi I'm Britni

I grew up in Utah. I love music. I love people. I am a hip-hop dancer. I'm in love with Riley. And I'm sooooo Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE PEOPLE and all their glory! I was a cheerleader and dancer in High School and I am currently enrolled at Utah Valley University and am apart of their first ever Hip Hop Company called Mos.A.I.C. I couldn't even begin to explain how I feel about music and the impact it has. I love everything that has to do with it. I love dancing to it, singing it, playing it, listening to it.. EVERYTHING. I play guitar and am in possession of a Banjo, not sure how to play it yet but I'll get there! (: Music is my way of expressing myself; how I feel, how I think, what I want to say, and so much more. I have a little brother who I ADORE more than anything. He's deaf and he's my little treasure. I'm so grateful for my family and friends and for my way attractive boyfriend, who makes me SUPER happy and I am SUPER in love with him... it's nuts (: I like to be happy and eating assists with that happiness. But you know what's cool?? I found a guy who makes me happier than food does, and that's pretty cool. I better hold on to him don't you think???

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church so ever since I was young I have been attending church. I would rely on my parents and their testimonies and just accept things as they came, not really knowing for myself if the things that I was being taught were true. But then once I started getting older I began to have a desire to know things for myself not just gospel things but everything. I have always has a huge love for learning and taking what I have learned, knowing its truth or not, and applying it to my own life. So I gradually started reading the Book of Mormon and going to Church and Mutual because I wanted to. I prayed and listened to know for myself if what I was learning was true. Over time and through the Holy Ghost I truly knew for myself that this is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that we are lead by a living prophet, Thomas S Monson, and that he holds the keys for us to return to our Heavenly Fathers presence. I know this gospel was restored by another prophet even Joseph Smith and that he did see the Father and The Son and that he did translate the Book of Mormon with the help of the Holy Ghost. Without his faith I would not have the knowledge and the happiness I have today and I am eternally grateful for that. I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one of us. He loves us more than we could ever imagine. So much as to send his first and Only Begotten Son to atone for our sins and to die for us. So that we may have the gifts of repentance, forgiveness, and Eternal Life. I know my Savior lives, and loves us. I am forever grateful for his sacrifice and am forever in his debt. I'm grateful for the Savior's grace, knowing that we are imperfect, but by his grace and our determined and enduring efforts and sacrifices we will be with him again. I'm grateful for the Plan of Happiness and the knowledge I have of Eternal Families. I love my Heavenly Father and Savior with all my heart and strive to do their will for me every day.

How I live my faith

I love visiting teaching!! It gives you such a cool chance to grow closer to the sisters in your ward and help them. In high school I was able to participate in a charity event we hosted called "Hearts of Gold". It was so cool to be able to plan activities and go out knocking on doors looking for things to do to raise money for different charities. It was an awesome experience. Seeing the love that people have for serving others was super inspiring and I will never forget that. It's cool to see everyone embrace the natural love we have for one another as brothers and sisters. How I live my faith is by helping others become who they really are and have the potential to be in Heavenly Father's eyes. By being an example and a teacher working with the Holy Ghost to bring others the knowledge and happiness I have. I always strive to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. I love seeing the light of Christ in others and helping them realize it.
