Hi I'm Krislee

I am currently serving a mission in the Dominican Republic Santiago Mission. I love this gospel and my Savior, Jesus Christ!

About Me

I am an active member of the Church in the Maryville, Tennessee ward. I am originally from Brandon, Mississippi, where I lived for the first 15 years of my life. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the church from September 2014 until March 2016 in the Dominican Republic Santiago mission. I play the fiddle, piano and I sing. I love spending time outside and enjoying Heavenly Father's creations. I am the oldest of four children, and I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of this gospel. I know that Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father and His son, Jesus Christ. I know that families can be together forever through temple ordinances. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet who leads and guides us today. Jesus Christ is our savior who atoned for our sins so that we can return to him. God knows us and hears our prayers. He will always be there for us whenever we call out to him. This gospel is my foundation and it gives me support whenever I go through a hard time.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, where we all have the opportunity to partake of the sacrament. I participate in service projects when ever I can, and I always look for an opportunity to serve others. I am a graduate of the 4-year seminary program, which is a early-morning scripture study class. I completed the Young Women's Personal Progress Program, along with the Honor Bee award. I continue to search the scriptures and pray to grow my testimony of this gospel.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

First, you have to have a desire to know. Pray to your Heavenly Father to know that Christ is your savior. Read the Bible and the Book of Mormon; they are both wonderful witnesses of his life and mission. Talk to your family and friends, and most importantly, the missionaries. They will give you their personal witness of the Savior and will give you suggestions on how to gain your testimony. Show more Show less
