Hi I'm Brittany

I love to sing, listen to music, and play the piano. I love to spend time with family and friends and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a large extended family. I have well over 100 first and second cousins combined from both sides of my family. We meet together as often as we can and have fun family reunions. I am 20 years old and have completed two years of college. I am at a lost of what to do with the rest of my life and have gone through difficult struggles to figure that out. Although I don't know as of yet, each struggle I have gone through has made me grow in numerous ways. I will grow even more these coming years as I serve a mission in the New Mexico Albuquerque Mission. I love to share what I love about what I believe in and I am excited to serve the Lord as I serve others. I hope to build a family and share and teach my children the family values I have learned from my childhood. I love music, art, and theatre. I enjoy nature and a good movie. I love all of God's creatures and try to keep an open mind when I meet different people of different cultures, faiths, and backgrounds.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have been raised in the faith of my church and have been taught frequently of the gospel, I have come to gain a testimony of my own that what I have learned is true. I do not depend any longer on the faith of others to answer my doubts as I did as a child, I depend on my own faith which grows stronger by the day. I love the gospel and the plan of my Heavenly Father. I strive to become worthy of the blessings associated with it. I have felt for myself often the redeeming and renewing love of God. It is the most precious and sacred thing. The love and joy I get from living and learning the gospel is why I choose to share it with others. Why keep this amazing happiness to myself?

How I live my faith

I love the gospel and the blessings it gives me and my family and that is why I choose to live my faith. I seek to be obedient and have faith and trust in what my Heavenly Father asks me to do. I know He knows what is best for me and what will make me the happiest. I have come to know this by studying His word and gaining a relationship with Him as I turn to Him in prayer. I seek to be diligent and trustworthy of Him and of my friends and family. I look forward to the 18 months I will serve on my mission in New Mexico and hope to bring others to Christ and to the joy of the knowledge of the gospel. The word "gospel" means "good news" and that is exactly what it is.
