Hi I'm Cody

I grew up in the Gem State of Idaho, I am a full-time missionary. I love California. I love sports of any kind. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in Idaho. I have an awesome family that I love spending time with. We all have different interests, but I just love spending time with all of them. I am extremely shy. I have always had a major interest in sports. I especially love football- either watching, playing or talking about it. I also love music. I just try to find joy in the little things and make the most of life. I just love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a great little community in Idaho, where a lot of people were also members of the Church. That had advantages, but it also sometimes made it easy to just kind of go with the flow. So even being exposed to it all the time, we all have to choose for ourselves. When I was around 16 years old, I received a challenge from a seminary teacher to read the scriptures every day. I decided to take the challenge and I noticed subtle but significant changes that started occurring in my life. Ever since then, I started to gain a testimony of the scriptures and I have a desire to just become better every day.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Ventura Mission. I absolutely love my mission and I love the great people of California. One of my favorite parts of being a missionary is getting to know the young men better and helping in small ways to prepare them to serve their own missions one day. I really just love to help people and be someone that people can rely on. I think the best way to live my faith, is to do just that, LIVE IT. It's simple to say, but it can be hard sometimes.
