Hi I'm Rylan Cox

I love Skiing, Playing College Volleyball, and making weird faces at cameras. I look good, and I'm definitely a Mormon.

About Me

So at this point in life I'm still a crazy little teenager. I've grown up loving to be outdoors and doing crazy things in the little ol' town of Morgan, UT AKA Smalltown USA. I love it. I played golf and did Track in High School...not running, just the throwing and jumping stuff, I would have had to work at running. I skied in the winter...a lot. This past year I attended Utah State University...GO AGGIES!!!...and had a wonderful time not sleeping. I played Volleyball for them and plan on returning to the team when I get back. I love to Longboard, Play Volleyball, Ski, Boat, Eat Cheesburgers and Tacos, and being a kid. I loathe being serious and love to smile and laugh and joke around with everyone. I have a loud and psychotic family that I love. I'm better friends with my second cousins than a lot of people are with their best friends. I LOVE MY FAMILY!

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said I've always had the Church. I've wanted to serve a mission since I was a little kid. I love this Church. I love Jesus Christ. I am thankful for him and his Atoning Sacrifice every single day of my life. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my Savior and everything he did for me. When it comes down to it, He is the reason for everything. He is the reason that I am here in the Philippines preaching His Gospel. I love it when people ask if I'm a Christian because I get the opportunity to bear my testimony of Jesus Christ. When it comes down to it, the reason I'm a Mormon is because I love Jesus and I know he loves me.

How I live my faith

I am now on a mission in the Quezon City Philippines Mission. I run around in this foreign place trying to preach the gospel in Tagalog, which generally gets some pretty funny looks because it's obvious I'm not from here. I'm putting forth the effort to learn this language because I know that this church is true. I'm thankful for it every day. I grew up in the Church and have always had the blessing of relying on it when I need a pick me up. It's amazing to me how when I follow the teachings of the Living Prophets and Apostles my life immediately goes well. I love my family so much and I love that through this gospel I can live with them forever. They are the most important part of my life. I love being a member of this church.
