Hi I'm Vicki

I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother...this is the greatest career in the world and I love it!!! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have been a life time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Raised in a family of eight, my parents gave me “wings to fly”. They taught me to live and cherish each day. Life has been a grand adventure! Education, travel, service, family, and a deep love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ has made my life rich and meaningful. From the top of the Alps to the top of the Andes; from the warm waters in the Indian Ocean, to the cold waters of the Islands in the Pacific; from Iguaçu Falls and the Masai Mara to Red Square and the Coliseum; I have been on a quest to explore all of the beauties of this amazing world…the greatest beauty being the amazing people I have met. My life has been changed forever by their hugs, friendship and their love. Thirty two years ago I married Robb and together we have experienced the “best of life.” With six children, in-law children, and grandchildren, life has never been dull. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been the firm foundation upon which my life has been anchored. The Lord’s hand has been revealed without measure in my life! When I have been weak, He has been strong. When my steps have been unsure, He has illuminated the path and guided. My Father in Heaven has answered my prayers and has granted me the righteous desires of my heart. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. His gospel is found in the Church of Jesus Christ….and that has made all the difference in my life. I am proud to be a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Every person has a conversion story. It is that moment when, you know that you know, what you believe is true. Every person that has a sincere desire to receive that witness from the Lord, can receive that knowledge. It comes with a price however, your faith can no longer be passive. To be true, you have to live a higher standard.... the standard of a true disciple. I am a Mormon because I have received the testimony and witness that the Church of Jesus Christ is true. I am a Mormon because I am striving to be true to that testimony!!!

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ and it's teachings brings great joy. I can not serve in any capacity without having my own life blessed in great abundance. Serving others and striving to live the commandments of Jesus Christ with exactness is not an irritant in my life, it has become a quest. I want my life to reflect the attributes of Jesus Christ. I want to say the things He would say and do the things He would do. My love for Him can best be demonstrated in my love for my fellowmen. Everything that I am and everything that I have, I freely give to the Lord. I have perfect confidence that as I draw closer to Him and as I strive to be like Him, that He will draw closer to me.
