Hi I'm Carolyn Kamerath

I grew up in Utah, My life has been greatly enriched through my activity in the LDS church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I raised 5 children, I have 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. I started nursing school when I was 40 and got an associate RN degree. Worked in hospitals for 16 years, Then served as a school nurse for 7 years. My hobbies are reading, golfing, playing tennis and I spend as much time as I can with my family. I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the church when I was 8. My grandmother took me to be baptized. I really didn't understand the meaning or the responsibilities of baptism at that time. I attended primary and Sunday school sporadically. I became more active as a teenager. My two best friends were active members, so I started attending youth activities which led to attending my other meetings and learning more about the gospel. After I was married and had 2 children, I spent a week fasting during the day and eating a little at night, and reading the Book of Mormon. In between my household duties and taking care of my children, on about the fourth day I felt a burning in my bosom, and a great happiness, and I wanted to shout to everyone around me the truthfulness of the book. I have retained that testimony throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I strive to develop Christ-like attributes. Such as charity, service to others, compassion, and humility. I attend my meetings, serve in whatever callings i'm given. I strive to be an example. I pray often, and study my scriptures.
