Hi I'm Bryant

I'm a skier, a physics enthusiast, and a life-long student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Logan, UT, and because of that, I have come to love the mountains! Using them to the best of my abilities, I ski all winter every winter, and rock climb as much as I can through the summer! When I'm not spending time in the mountains, I like to spend my evening reading, playing piano, watching movies, or even playing a few video games. I try to keep my life exciting, but I'm totally down to just lounge around the house every once in a while. As much as I love to do other things, my passion will always be physics. Yeah, I'm that nerd who is always telling you how clouds float or other random things like that. I just love studying the way the world works! I'm going to school at the University of Utah studying biomedical engineering. I plan on working with prosthetic limbs. Not exactly sure what got me into that, but I love the technology there, and just want to be able to help people have a better quality of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess the reason that I'm a Mormon, was because I was born into this church. But I've come to realize that I never really knew this church was true until recently. I lived my whole life in the church, doing the things that I was supposed to do, mostly because it was a cultural thing. I always "knew it was true," but I don't know how much I actually knew. There were bits and pieces that I believed and knew, but as a whole, I don't think I knew. I never really questioned it, but I didn't know for a fact. That knowledge came over a period of time. I figured that if I was eventually to be out teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ, I realized that I needed to know it was true if I was going to spend all day, every day telling people that it was. I began to pray, and began to feel God testify to me that it was. It never came to me in one giant "THIS IS TRUE" feeling, but it did come to me piece by piece. During my final years of high school, as I began to learn and pray about different aspects of the gospel, I came to know that each little piece was true, one at a time. I would pray about one, and recieve and answer. And then I would receive an answer that another little piece was true, and another and another. That was how I developed my testimony, and right now, I can say without a doubt that I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

To help people see God more in their life, I try to be the best person that I can be. I've come to realize that as I live the way God has asked me to live, I can help people to see and understand even better how he can help them. Granted, I'm not perfect, but thankfully because of Christ and everything that he did for me, I can still return to live with my Heavenly Father again. There's not really a way that I can express the love and gratitude that I feel towards Christ and what he did for me, and I think the only way I can even begin to show that is by doing what he has asked to the best of my abilities. As it says in John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Bryant
When the missionaries stop by your home, it will be a short 10-20 minute visit. They'll get to know you and your family a little, and then share a short message about Jesus Christ and some of the things that he taught while he was here on the earth. The visits are short, powerful, and very inspiring! Show more Show less
