Hi I'm Melissa Fugate

I'm from St. George, Utah. Just a few of my favorite things: Jace Fugate, horses, art, soccer, ice cream and being a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised here in St. George. I love the red dirt and being surrounded by mountains. I graduated college with my Associates Degree before serving a full time mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Oklahoma and the surrounding states. I love anything to do with being outdoors including playing soccer, riding horses, hiking, rock climbing, running, and much more. My friends call me Mo. Ice cream is my favorite food. I also really love art, especially painting. I am currently working for a company that creates white board animation videos so I get to draw for them and I love it. My family and friends mean the world to me, I don't know what I'd do without them. I got to marry the man of my dreams in the St. George temple last year and it has been the best decision I've ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the Mormon culture and religion. It was pretty much just given and handed to me my whole life from my parents and family. I believe I was born with a testimony but it was sometime in high school that I truly became converted to the gospel. I want people to be able to see the light of Christ when they look at me and know what I stand for. Striving to be a true disciple of Christ in these latter days is tough but I know there is nothing more important. I know there will always be hard times while on this earth but I believe that is only in a sense sculpting us to become like Him. I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and all the knowledge and peace it has brought to me in this life. I am also truly grateful for the chance I have everyday to share it with others in hopes that we can all have faith in Him and emulate the light that we were each individually given.

How I live my faith

Each and every day I do my best to do and be better then I was the day before. I strive to follow my Savior and act on promptings from the Holy Ghost.
