Hi I'm Nina

I am getting reading to spend 18 mouths in service to share the gospel and I am a Mormon

About Me

My name is Nina and I am 20 years old and am preparing to on a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I leave Aug 28th for the MTC and will be serving in the Seattle Washington Mission

Why I am a Mormon

from ages 18 and 19 I spent much of my time with some people who where not of my faith (I had been home-schooled my whole life and not spent time with many people who where not Mormons). I learned so much in this time I learned patients for those who believed differently of the way God works and I know God loves us all in his own way and shows it differently. In this time I met this wonderful boy named Tony he was kind and explained much of life to me but was not a member of my church, so it was from a different way of looking at God it just did not feel as right as the way I felt when I went to church and prayed to my Heavenly Father. I spent much of my time talking with him and he decided to try coming to my church and met with the missionaries and learned all about this church. He is know a member. I also learned a lot of things that my mind could do without I learned that asking about the way others believe is not wrong but forgetting to love and worship my Heavenly Father is wrong. I spent to much time wondering how some thought processes work and to little on remember my testimony of my savior. It is important to remember who you are and only move forward in a way of believing if it feels right in your heart and brings happiness to you and God.

How I live my faith

I was just released from serving as the primary's first counselor it was amazing to learn and grow with each of the children and to be able to know that God loves them and to strive each Sunday to help them feel the spirit in their lives.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Nina
Not all want to spent there time in full time service of their Lord but those who do want to are more then welcome and will get countless blessings from their time spent in the help of others. It is vary important that all young members think about and pray to know if they should go but weather you go or not is between you and the Lord. Show more Show less
