Hi I'm Kristan

I was home taught in Utah. I take every opportunity I can to travel and explore. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to try new things. I have been involved in many different things. Once I was a sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol and I am now a black belt in Karate. Language, arts, and cultural studies are my hobbies. Nature, outdoors, and travel are my passions. I hope someday I can use my interests to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but that alone is not what keeps me active. It was not always easy for me to be involved in the church. As a teenager I often felt quite lonely and misunderstood. My love of God and His Son are what kept me going. As I studied his words and put my trust in him I grew to love the gospel and feel personally connected to those that came before. The sadness I felt became small in comparison to my love for Jesus Christ. I know that God loves me and as I continue to obey him I am blessed. Jesus Christ is my savior, brother, and friend; for him I am eternally grateful.

How I live my faith

Everyday. Prayer, scripture study, and gratitude keep me firm in the faith and help me visit teach fellow members and have inspired me to go on a mission.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Kristan
We are happy to help everyone. Ultimately we are all brothers and sisters. I have found a lot of happiness helping others and doing humanitarian work within the church and outside of it. “It is easy enough to be friendly to one's friends. But to befriend the one who regards himself as your enemy is the quintessence of true religion. The other is mere business.” ― Gandhi Christ loves all of us divinely, so should we strive for that same charity. Show more Show less
