Hi I'm Simone

I'm from small town Blanding, Utah. I have grown up in the church and will be serving a mission in Santa Maria Brazil.

About Me

After I graduated high school I attended Southern Utah University, to study Mathematics. I then interned for the United States Senate in Washington DC. I have always been very involved in politics and government. I love small towns and doing anything outdoors such as, boating, four-wheeling, hunting, fishing and camping. I played volleyball, softball and ran track and still love to swim and run and continue to be active.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love the freedom it gives me. Many people think because we don't drink, smoke, party and many other things that the church is restrictive and tells us what to do. However, it couldn't be more opposite. Because of the standards we have my mind, body and soul are free to live my life and enjoy the little things. Another reason I am mormon is because I know I can be with my family for eternity. Everyone loses loved ones and experiences death. This is hard for everyone no matter what the circumstance is. If I didn't believe in life after death and that I will be with my family again I do not know how I would get through these hard times. This knowledge is such a blessing and a comfort to know that this life is short, and I will be reunited with family and friends once again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be better everyday. I fully understand that no one is perfect, but if you try your hardest the Lord will make up the rest. I have a very big and close family and the church teaches that families are the most important thing. One way that I try to live righteously is to strengthen my family and prepare myself for my future family and a temple marriage.
