Hi I'm Tyler Dragon

I love to spend time with family, ride motorcycles, go camping, get mud on big trucks, and yes... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Pretty much all I do involves my family or the outdoors. I love camping because It gives me a chance to get away from all the stress of life. Spending time with my family and friends is my most cherished activity. I can't imagine a world without them. I enjoy watching movies and just sitting around doing nothing but I also love to get out and do crazy things like play tag at the store. Some people think I'm crazy because I love to cook but also love to get my hands dirty cleaning or fixing motorcycles. Really, I just enjoy working with my hands to create different things such as woodwork, ceramics, or even food.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have received a whiteness from the Holy Ghost (Spirit) that God, the Father and his son, Jesus Christ really appeared to the boy Joseph Smith. I know Joseph Smith was truly called as a prophet of God. I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again brought the truth to the earth with Joseph Smith as an instrument in their hands. I am a Mormon because I know it is where I am meant to be. I can't really explain how I know it is all true but that is the beauty of it. It is that personal and sacred to me. When you know how to explain what salt tastes like to a person who has never tasted it without saying things like "Its not" or "Its different than", let me know. You know what salt tastes like because it is more than likely an everyday experience. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true because of my everyday experiences and witnesses from the Spirit. I CHOOSE to be a Mormon because of the exceedingly great Joy I receive as I live the standards taught in the church.

How I live my faith

I live the faith by serving others. Jesus Christ spent his life serving those around him whether they were his followers or not. A Book of Mormon Prophet, King Benjamin, taught us to "learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God". I believe that through service, I can become a true disciple of Christ.
