Hi I'm Kaitlyn Langford

I'm a missionary in the Utica, New York mission. I'm from Alpine, UT. aaaaand... I'M A MORMON!

About Me

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn and I'm a Mormon! I was raised in Utah and am a student at Brigham Young University. I just finished my Freshman year of college and now have the opportunity to serve a mission for the church in the Utica New York mission. I love interior design, fashion, making friends, dancing, and living life to the fullest. Most importantly though, I love the gospel and the blessing it has been in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, not simply because I was raised in the church. I am a Mormon, because I know the church is true. I know of the amazing blessings that come when you keep the commandments. I am a Mormon, because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true gospel of Christ. I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is true. The blessings in that book are real. I am a Mormon, because I know that Christ suffered in Gethsemane for me. He suffered for each of us. He suffered for you specifically. It is because of that amazing gift that we can be redeemed from our sins. It is because of this gift that we can life with our Heaven Father and Jesus Christ again. I am a Mormon, because I absolutely know this is true. If you want to know the same, I recommend reading the Book of Mormon and finding out for yourself. I love this church and I am beyond grateful for the blessing it has been in my life.

How I live my faith

I am a sister missionary. Choosing to serve a mission was one of the hardest, yet most blessing-filled decision I ever made in my life. Before October 2012 sisters couldn't serve missions until they were 21 years old. At the October 2012 General Conference the Prophet made the announcement that sisters could now serve when they were nineteen years old. This announcement will have forever changed my life. Because of this age change, I have the opportunity to be serving the great people of New York, now. Thats right. I'm here to represent the nineteen year old sisters. As a missionary I have the opportunity to teach people about the gospel of Jesus Christ and tell them how much it has blessed me. I hope to be able to bring the people of Utica New York the joys of the Book of Mormon. I am so excited to serve!
