Hi I'm Ethan Gilstrap

I'm from a tiny town in Idaho, I love comic books, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in St. Anthony, Idaho, a farming community in Eastern Idaho. I'm just the average skinny kid with brown hair, but I love to be myself and enjoy time with my family and friends. I've always been big into superheroes and comic book stuff. If I had my dream job I would be an artist and draw comic books. I've also grown up with a great family, with a very country boy background. I love to ride horses and do anything that involves working hard. Especially when it's with my three older brothers.

Why I am a Mormon

It just makes sense. The principles of the Church and of the Gospel teach us how to have better lives. They help us to be better friends, and to help us build up our communities. I've truly learned that God loves me, and I understand why Christ made his sacrifice for us, and how I can use that sacrifice in my life. The Gospel has brought me so much peace, and that I am never alone. I know I always have help and guidance in my life, and it' comes through the inspiration and ordinances available through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I've grown up in the Church. I've gone through different phases when we've been active and when we haven't been, but I've always had a great love for the Savior. I've really begun to understand how important it is to follow the commandments, and to live the Gospel. Especially since I've been on a mission for the Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm very grateful for my membership in the Church and the things I've learned about life. I've had so many great examples that have led me in the right direction.
