Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Utah, I am a very big computer geek: Java programming, HTML, Gaming, etc. I'm a Latter Day Saint / Mormon!

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Previous to my call as an LDS missionary I was attending high school and participated in the band, FBLA organization, Theatre performances, and the swimming team. I plan to achieve a bachelor's degree in computer science when my two year mission is complete. I am a very big computer geek, and enjoy playing videogames. Many of my friends are LDS and help me continue to uphold my standards.

Why I am a Mormon

All of my extended family are Mormons, or members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was baptized at the age of eight, after deciding that I wanted to continue to follow in the footsteps of my ancestors. My testimony of the church has grown very much since then, and the church is such an important portion of my life that I cannot comprehend the opposite end of the spectrum. Our Father in Heaven loves us, his son Jesus Christ died to save us all. The book of Mormon has correlations with the Holy Bible that make it impossible almost for me to deny the contents or teachings of these books. I know the prophets are true seers and revelators called from God.

How I live my faith

In our church meetings, I commonly help the young men with their sacrament duties (sacrament is very similar to what you may know as communion). Blessing and passing the bread and water to those in the congregation. This past Sunday I was given the opportunity to speak to the congregation before I left on my mission. I often help people at work understand our religion as many have misunderstandings about the Latter-Day Saints.
