Hi I'm James Graff

I am a Missionary assigned to serve in the Brazil, Londrina mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Washington State, have four older siblings and love my family and the Gospel more than anything else in the world. I grew up playing sports, doing anything with a board, shooting guns and bows, and driving my parents insane. I love anything with water, swimming, tubing, surfing, wakeboarding... I have worked construction (framing) for a year in order to pay for my mission which I will be serving in the Brazil, Londrina mission. I currently am preparing to serve as a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this Church. It is the true church. I know that our older brother, Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father gave us this church and the Book of Mormon to help us in our lives. I know Jesus really did suffer the atonement and died for us that we can be forgiven of our sins and shortcomings. I know that families can live forever and be with our Heavenly Father and Jesus again after this life. This is why I have chosen to serve them. To bring the true joy of the truth to those that do not yet have it. I hope everyone will one day be able to feel the true love and joy that comes from the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church as a Primary or children's teacher in both the five and eleven year old classes. I currently serve as a Ward Missionary. I love my calling because it is as close to being a full time missionary as I can get. I get to interact with the Missionary's currently serving in our ward and teach a class for the adults on Sundays.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

James Graff
We come closer to our Father in Heaven when we follow Christ's example. We have faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, repent, are baptized, and endure to the end. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

James Graff
We believe that everyone who has lived on the earth should be given the opportunity to return to live with God and Jesus Christ for eternity. Baptism is required to do this. We perform baptisms for the dead to allow those who are no longer on the earth and who no longer have a physical body to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Show more Show less
