Hi I'm Lindsay

I'm a nurse. I'm traveling the world one country at a time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a Bachelor of Nursing degree. I have been working for a year as an RN, and am preparing to serve a mission as a nurse specialist in Argentina, Posadas. I love music, and have learned to express myself through flute and piano. I have a lot of fun with puzzles and logic problems, and even more fun when they stump me! I enjoy experimenting with cooking. My family means everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because I know this is the true church. I know that by following the Book of Mormon and the counsel of modern-day prophets, I can make righteous choices that will bring me closer to God. I love my family so much, and take comfort from the knowledge that through the covenants we make in the temple, I can be with them forever. My parents are members of the church, so I grew up attending church with them. As I have grown older, though, I have had to learn that the church is true on my own. Through daily prayer, studying the scriptures, and pondering the things I learn in church, I developed my own testimony of the gospel. I believe in it so much that I have chosen to spend the next 18 months of my life in a foreign country, teaching others about the wonderful message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church is true, and living it has made my life better, happier, and closer to my Savior and my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to treat others as the Savior would treat them. I go to the temple regularly to perform service for others and feel closer to Heavenly Father. I will soon be in Argentina, Posadas as a missionary and mission nurse specialist. In this calling, I will teach others about my faith and invite them to pray to know it is true as well. I have had other fun callings, including one where I taught a cooking class to women in my church!
