Hi I'm Michael

I'm an Oregonian, an actor, a techie, a former marching band member, a reader, an aspiring writer, a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In high school I was extremely involved in the school band as a trombonist, though after graduation I stopped playing for the most part. I was also very involved in the theater program at the school, and I would support community theater but never participated. I attended Brigham Young University in Provo Utah for a year before moving to New York to serve a mission. In New York I've lived and done missionary work in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. I'm currently finishing up my mission and am in Long Island for the last few weeks. Once I'm finished in New York I'll be heading back to school where I will be endeavoring to discover what it is that want to do for the rest of my life! I'm very fond of reading and often do when I get the chance. I've read mostly fiction of various sorts, though I have been becoming more and more interested in reading up on some nonfiction so that I'm able to flesh out some of my own stories. I've also become fond of reading about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love the gospel and have grown ever more firm in my faith as I've learned more and more and as I've asked my questions and had them answered. I've definitely had my questions in my life, but all of them have been answered.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I was born into the church, have studied and found my own answer, and I have received witness of its truth.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for the church and I stand up for the things I believe even if it means having to do something that makes me uncomfortable, such as talking to strangers, moving to new places, or having to search my own feelings and testimonies to find out what it is that I do believe.
