Hi I'm Shanez Iosua-Fiu

Im human, I make mistakes. "Satan would rather you define yourself by your sins instead of your Devine Potential. DON'T let him"

About Me

I am child number 3 out of 6. I have a great love for my immediate family as well as my extended family. I will forever be in debt to my Father in Heaven for blessing me with such lovely people to share this earthly journey with me. I am a Part-Time University student, Part-Time Child Care worker and a Full-Time LDS member :) Like many other people, I am faced with many temptations. I find it hard sometimes to wake up early for work, then finish assignments for school, and then head back to work again. I am constantly having thoughts floating through my mind to 'give up' and 'Im doing too much' 'Im too tired'. However I know that it is the adversary trying to get the best of me, furthermore, I am grateful for the Callings in the church that I have that keeps me occupied and strengthens my testimony, and I am forever grateful for the family that I have for their non-stop support that they have for me. I come from a BIG Samoan family. Being Samoan kind of makes life easier for me, because we are always having family get togethers and it makes our family bond stronger and I feel that I am never alone because of the family that I have. I know that families are forever and that families are essential in the Great plan of happiness. The Gospel and my Family is what keeps me going!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I find happiness within this Gospel, it teaches me to be the Young Women that I am and the Women that I can be in the future. It is like a map that I follow that helps me get the best out of this life and avoid getting in to trouble mentally, physically and spiritually. I am living life happily and am doing my best to live according to Lord. I have a testimony of this Gospel that I know that it is true, I know that true happiness comes to me through this faith. The teachings of Living prophets and past prophets have helped me understand my purpose on earth. The four standard books are true. I truly believe that The Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ. I love this Gospel and am Grateful to have been brought up in this faith. I want everyone to feel the happiness that comes through this faith and the blessings it brings also.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best that I can be. No-one is perfect, we all have our imperfections but I know that the Gospel has made me who I am today. I teach Primary kids ages 9 and 10 every Sunday. This calling has helped me gain a great love for the Lords little children, they are naive but very thirsty for the Lords teachings. Primary kids are very curious and eager to know more, and because they are eager and curious to know about the Lords work it inspires me to study more and more about the lessons I give each Sunday. As well as a Primary teacher I am President for our Institute class. Im grateful that I can participate in helping the Lords work grow by teaching his little children.
