Hi I'm Amanda

I was born and raised in Utah. My faith and my family are the two most important things I have in my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of six children I have three sisters, two brothers, two nieces, and three nephews. I was born and raised in Northern Utah. My family has always been my greatest treasure in this life and I am the happiest when I am with them. We go camping up in the mountains every year as a family. Some of my favorite memories come from those camping trips. I really enjoy getting away from the noise of the world and being surrounded by the beauty of God's creations. Art and music play a major role in my life. I love to sing, play the viola, and draw.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life. My parents raised me in the church and were excellent examples for me. I have come to know for myself that this is Christ's true church. I have read the Book of Mormon through several times and I have received a confirmation that it is a true book. I know that Joseph Smith did see God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. They answered his prayer and called him to be Their prophet on this earth and to help restore Their church upon the earth. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is God's true prophet today. I love my Savior with all of my heart. I am excited to be serving a mission, because I want to share the knowledge, joy, and happiness I have in my life because of the gospel with others who do not have it. I feel Heavenly Father's love and support in my life and I am so grateful for that. This gospel brings me such happiness, peace, and purpose and I love it with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for the LDS church. Before I left for my mission I taught a class of six children from the ages of 6 to 7. I loved teaching and I think the kids taught me more than I taught them.
