Hi I'm Taylor Stuart

I'm from a small town in Utah. I love dreaming of the future while living every moment I can in the present and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending university studying exercise science with the goal of researching in bio-mechanics and injury prevention. I love going home on the weekends and holidays to spend time with my family - they are my best friends. I am the youngest of four girls in my family- the only one still single. I have three amazing brothers-in-law who tease me just like real brothers would. I have wonderful parents who love me and love each other. We love spending time together out in nature, hiking and camping, or just playing games in the backyard. I love the sea and will one day have my own sail boat tethered to a dock behind my house on the coast. I believe in planning things out to achieve goals and dreams. Having something to work toward anchors my view and drives me forward. However, I don't let that get in the way of enjoying the journey along the way. I find joy in the simple pleasures of life. Life is about living and that is what I am doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into this church in a family who lives and loves the gospel. That, however, is not why I am a Mormon. I learned for myself that I love it personally. It brings me tremendous joy every day of my life. It is such a comfort to know that I don't have to be perfect, I am not expected to be perfect. Jesus Christ took care of that for me in the Garden of Gethsemane when He suffered for all the pains, trials, and tribulations I may experience in this earth life. He died so I may live forever with my family in his presence. It is thanks to the atonement that I am able to remain free of sin continually and be spotless before God. I am a Mormon because it is in the strength I find in The Lord that allows me to do hard things. By participating in my congregation and with the other saints I am constantly buoyed up. I know that my hardships are only small and The Lord will help me through them. It is in His strength that I can do all things.

How I live my faith

Each and every day brings me new opportunity to live my faith. It is not something I do only on Sundays while at church, but rather the thing I do every day throughout the week. I remember that actions speak louder than words so I try my best to live each day how my Savior would want me to live. I try to emulate His life by being a friend to those who may be lonely and comforting those who may need help in a hardship. I always try to keep a smile on my face and look for the good in others. As I read my scriptures and pray daily I know I am able to keep my Savior with me always. I know He lives and I know that He loves me. I know that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who wants nothing more than for me to return to live with Him. I love Him and I know He loves me.
