Hi I'm Mitchell Best

I love running. I love music. I'm a DJ. I live life to its fullest. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 20 year old elder in the church and have been a member a little bit after the age of 8 1/2. I received missionary lessons when I became curious about the process when my active friends came to the age for baptism. I have just finished one year of schooling at Utah State University, and am now called to serve in South Africa, Cape Town Mission. I love music and singing! I am also an avid runner. I love attending the temple and learning about any part of history.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to join this church because of the efforts and preparedness of two missionary elders. I know the truthfulness of this gospel. It is the one and only true gospel on this earth. I am so grateful for how much it has blessed my life since I was baptized and how much it has blessed my family's life. I have read the Book of Mormon several times and have seen with my own eyes that it is a another testament of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I have prayed about its truthfulness and through the warm conformation of the Holy Ghost I gained a knowledge that it is true. I am eternally grateful for this Gospel and hope to share it with anyone who has any questions!

How I live my faith

I have been raised and blessed to have a love for serving and assisting others! I have seen how a simple, small act of service has made such a bigger and profound impact in another persons life. I have learned over the years of being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that to truly show my faith, that I need to have Charity or the pure-love of Christ. I am not perfect at always exemplifying this Christlike attribute, but I strive to. I know that when I am in the service of my fellow man, that I am only in the service of my God.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being Mormon is a way of life, which if lived correctly, that you will only experience a great amount of joy and peace. I have found in my life as I abide by the standards that we believe in as a church that I am happier, not as stressed and have a sense of love for everyone that I meet. It does take an effort to be diligent in following these standards that I believe in, but it is the most rewarding life that I could ever live! Show more Show less
