Hi I'm Cessily

I believe in trying new things, to have adventure, and living life to the fullest. I am a Momon and I love it.

About Me

What about me? Well, there is a lot to what makes up me. I love to explore and to be adventorous. I love the mountains and the ocean and to just have fun. I grew up in New Mexico and then moved to Utah when I was a 11 years old and have loved it ever since. I have always been a drama queen and love to perform. I have done a few plays, I do all kinds of dance (ballroom, modern, and hip hop are my favorites though), and I did color guard. I have 5 siblings and I am the youngest girl so I am definitely spoiled, but I think I am okay with that. I love my family and my friends and think they are some of the most important parts of my life. I worked as a CNA (nurse assistant) and I loved that. It showed me the joy and happiness that comes from helping and serving others. That the people you truly become close to are the ones that you take care of and serve. The other huge part of my life is this Gospel. I know that without it I would be such a different person and it has made me better. It is preparing me to be the best daughter, friend, wife, and mom I could be. I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

This is a good question. There are many paths you could take in your life and a lot of people wonder why somebody would be a Mormon. It definitely is hard and even though I love this Gospel with all my heart there have been points in my life where I have questioned what I was raised up on. But I see that without the Gospel in your life it just makes this life so much harder and less bearable. In the church they always tell us to pray and ask God to find out the truth. I wanted to know if this was true. It was as simple as that. So when I had read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if this church was true I got my answer. You cannot deny an answer from God. He knows what He told me and I know what He told me. And I decided to share it with anybody that will hear. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Growning up in the church has definitely helped me out in this category. The way I was raised was by church standards so it is part of me. It is who I am. I think that is the way that everybody should live their life. It should show in everything you say and do. When people see and meet you is when they should know who and what you stand for. I live my faith in my everyday life. By trying to be the best I could be, but just letting Christ make up the difference that I cannot do by myself. Show love and kindness to everyone you meet and treat them as if they are Children of God, because that is exactly what they are.
