Hi I'm McCall Donovan

I love life, I'm from Missouri, I'm a missionary serving in the Utah St. George mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended school in Idaho and absolutely loved it. I love being with my friends and family. I am the oldest of four but have a twin brother who is my best friend. I love to dance, laugh, and be adventurous. I'm up for any new adventure or challenge; the more intense the better. In fact, for my 18th birthday I went sky diving! I love hot dogs, country music and bonfires, and just having a good time. I am now a missionary, and I love every minute of it. Nothing better than being an instrument in the Lord's hands.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. I went every week with my parents, but as I got older, I had to make the decision for myself if I wanted to continue. Through being a part of this church, I have seen my life and the lives of many others be tremendously blessed. I have been able to feel the Spirit and receive guidance with many large decisions in my life through much prayer and fasting. I have been able to feel at peace in hard times because of the strength the Savior provided me with. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He's just there waiting for us to turn to him. I have read the Book of Mormon and know it to be true, but I can't just tell you that it is. It takes personal study and prayer to know for yourself. I know this church is true and that is why I have decided to serve a mission. I want to be able to provide others with the joy and love I have received through living the gospel. I know families are forever and that Heavenly Father loves each of His children so much that He's provided a way for us to return to him. I know that Jesus Christ died for each of us as individuals and has felt every pain we've gone through. He knows us perfectly and knows exactly how to help us. He didn't only suffer so that we could be cleansed from sin, but so that we could also have enough strength to get through hard times; someone to rely on. I know that true and lasting happiness only comes in and through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my everyday actions. I try to live in a way that others can look up to and want to be more like, because that's how the Savior lived. I try to avoid any situation that could get me into trouble and disappoint those I love because nothing good comes out of it. I try to strengthen my relationships with others and keep them strong because that is so important. I attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints every Sunday and participate in each class. I try my best to fulfill any assignment I am given, and look to help those that need it. Another way I live my faith it through my decision to serve a full-time mission. I have decided to put aside 18 months of my life to serve my Heavenly Father and His children. I have been given so much. Christ suffered for me, and there's no way I can ever repay Him. The least I can do is be an instrument in the Lord's hands for 18 months and serve my brothers and sisters.
