Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Idaho. I am preparing to serve a mission. I love spending time with family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in a small town in Idaho for most of my life. I have seven people in my family. I have completed one year of college and am currently preparing to serve a mission. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy reading, traveling, scrap-booking, and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church. From a young age my parents have taught and been a great example to me of how to live the gospel and why it is important. Even though the gospel has always been a part of my life I have questioned why. Through reading the Book of Mormon and praying to my Heavenly Father my faith has been strengthened and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is true. The church has been a great comfort in my life. It has brought me much happiness and security.

How I live my faith

In living my faith I strive to follow God's commandments and develop Christlike attributes. A big part of becoming like Christ is through the act of service. Visiting neighbors, helping others, giving up time and energy to help those around me draw closer to God. My decision to serve a mission for 18 months is how i live my faith. I will be gone for 18 months away from my friends and family, helping and serving others to come to know and recognize Gods love. My calling in my ward is teaching the children. I enjoy this calling and the opportunity I have to plan lessons and teach the children what they need to learn to grow and strengthen their lives.
