Hi I'm Amelia

I teach adaptive recreation to people with disabilities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports and recreation and especially helping people with disabilities have the same opportunities to participate as everyone else. I graduated from BYU with a bachelor degree in Therapeutic Recreation I will be serving a full time mission in Manchester, New Hampshire beginning in June 2013

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into this amazing church. I have always loved its teachings and the blessings it brings to my life. I love the doctrine of eternal families and I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be with my family forever. I love that Christ loved us enough to sacrifice his own life, though He could have turned back at any point. He suffered for our sins, knowing full well that we would commit them in this life. He suffered it all, because he loves us. He forgives us, because he loves us. He gave us this gospel and a living prophet, because he loves us. He patiently guides us and teaches us each day, because he loves us. I love my Savior so much and I know his gospel is love. I know that everything that happens in my life happens either because he loves me, or is fixed because he loves me. I want to serve my mission and live my life in such a way that if the Savior asks if I lived his Doctrine, I can say will full energy and confidence that I did, with my whole heart, because I love him.

How I live my faith

I have taught lessons to the women in my church on Sundays and organized fun activities for the young men and women to participate in on a weekly basis. I can't wait to serve a full time mission in New Hampshire and be able to tell everyone what I believe.
