Hi I'm Lauren

I love to run. I'm a Deaf Ed Major. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the only girl surrounded by four brothers. My family, both immediate and extended are my life. Running is a passion of mine, and has become my outlet from this crazy thing we call life. I am proud member of "Dumbledor's Army" and a "Whovian" through and through. I spent two marvelous years at Snow College before making the life changing decision to serve my Heavenly Father as one of His missionaries. Every good thing in my life, I can trace back to my belief in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I am not perfect by any means, my life proves that, but I am striving to piece my life after the pattern Christ set.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because every good thing in my life, I can trace back to my faith in Jesus Christ and being a member of His church and gospel. The gospel has been my rock as I have faced the winds and decisions of life. I have felt the blessings of living in a Christ centered home and I want that for those around me. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me gain a deeper relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ. I know I am a Daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who is aware of me and those around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my Heavenly Father as a missionary. I have been blessed with so many opportunities to serve the people of Oregon and see the gospel bless the lives of those around me. As I have lost myself in the service of others, I have truly found myslef.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

We believe that temples are the Lord's house here on the earth. It is a very sacred place where we go to make sacred promises with God. Just as we make promises with God when we are baptized, the temple is a place where we make more essential promises with God. It is a place of peace and comfort, a house of prayer where we can feel nearer to our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
