Hi I'm Ben

I'm a college student. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was attending college at Brigham Young University for a semester, but decided to prepare for a mission before pursuing more of an education.

Why I am a Mormon

It's all true. I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and for the majority of my time growing up I went through the motions of going to church with my family. It was just something we did and took up a big part of our time. There came a day when I felt I needed to know if everything was right. I wanted to know if this really is a part of my life I should be devoting my whole heart to. As is recommended by most people in the church, I decided to ask God about it. I prayed what I felt was a very sincere prayer, and waited in the quiet once it ended. It came as clear as day that it was all obviously true. I was taught many things growing up, little by little from parents, teachers, missionaries; and that I already knew they were right as they taught me. I know God and Jesus Christ love me and want me to follow them through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that that was the only way to an everlasting happiness in spite of this life.

How I live my faith

I'm not very actively involved with many organizations formally, but I do consider myself a here-and-there helper. I've grown up in the Scouting program and even then I was mostly involved in a way that could be of assistance to individual people. I help when people ask or need it and that has been my pattern of life for many years.
