Hi I'm Arien

I'm from Ohio. I grew up overseas in Asia. I'm a world traveler. I'm a graphic designer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Kobe, Japan and Graungzhou, China with a few years living in my hometown Cincinnati, Ohio here and there. I absolutely loved every minute of living overseas! I couldn't resist a chance to explore the world more by doing a study abroad in Florence, Italy for a summer during college. I played on the varsity volleyball and basketball teams in High School, and love playing about any sport there is to play! I have always had a love for art, and a more recent passion for design. I graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. I am currently serving a mission in Taichung, Taiwan for a year and a half!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, with parents that faithfully taught their children to love and serve others and the gospel. Living overseas prevented us from openly talking about the gospel at times, which meant that our example had more value than our words. The gospel brings me peace and happiness when I most need it, and gives me a strong purpose. Everyday we were examples to others of happiness and peace through the gospel. I am currently serving a mission in Taichung, Taiwan. I am so excited to teach and serve the people of Taiwan, and bring others to Christ.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every Sunday to meet with my ward to worship my Savior and to help serve others. Being a missionary I get to serve and teach people about the gospel everyday and help them come to know their Savior and his love for them.
