Hi I'm Devin Justesen

Hi! My name is Devin, I'm from California, and I love being a Mormon and helping answer questions!

About Me

Hi! My name is Devin, and I am a Mormon. I really love my family so much, and love being a friendly person to all of those I come in contact with. I'm a really easy going guy, and I love talking to people. Getting to know people is one of the great gifts we have here in this life, and one I love experiencing. I recently attended BYU-Idaho, and I seriously loved it. I love to play guitar and longboard, or any sport that involves a board.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons to why I am Mormon, but the biggest of all is the unconditional love and happiness I have found in this great Church. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings such a peace to my own life, and one that I have truly experienced in this Gospel. I get up everyday so stoked to continue being a Mormon, as I love the desire to do what is right and live a life of kindness. This Gospel is such a wonderful thing, and it has brought so much happiness to my life. I know truly know that it is true. Throughout my life, I have come to have a personal knowledge that the Book of Mormon is a true book that can change the life of anyone who reads it. It's pages are filled with such wonderful stories that teach us how to follow the Prophets are listen to the Spirit. I know that the leaders of this church have been called of God, and can lead us to an everlasting happiness in this life. I love being a Mormon because it has urged me to know for myself whether or not it is true, and through searching sincerely, I have learned that it is true.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is through example. Throughout my life, most of my friends have not been members of my own faith, and I couldn't always be declaring my opinions vocally. However, by living my faith earnestly and leading by example, I had many friends come to me for advice during troubling times, and they would explain that they came to me because they knew I would not judge them or condemn them. I believe that in this Gospel we must all realize that we are not perfect, and that only Christ is our judge. We all fall short, and no one deserves to be treated differently because of past decisions. Living a life of kindness in this Gospel has brought me so much peace and happiness in my life.
