Hi I'm Jared Carmon

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am an Eagle Scout, and I love serving the Lord. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school graduate, that played football for 4 years. I like to give service to others whether through the Boy Scouts of America, or through The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. My hobbies include playing ukulele, making computer beats, and beat-boxing. I am currently on my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I couldn't be happier! I am enrolled at a fine church institution going for my Biology major.I like camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, paint-balling, and other outdoor activities. I also like board games, making people laugh, and learning about life sciences. I am serving in the Brasil Sao Paulo Interlagos mission.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught all around the world by many denominations of churches. What I have learned throughout my time traveling around the world and talking to different people from different cultures, is that everyone has good in them. I feel that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps people to expand the good inside and share it with others. The fullness and truthfulness of what I know this Church possesses gives me hope that one day all will hear the glad message that we the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are helping to spread throughout the world.

How I live my faith

On a regular day, I think to myself, "How can I make someone's day?" In making people's day, I help them with simple tasks such as listening to them when they need to talk, helping them put their groceries in their car and even just complimenting people. I have been an assistant scout master where I have helped the youth learn how to be leaders among their peers. I have helped provide service activities that benefit individuals and groups in my community. I feel that living my faith helps others to make a difference in their lives and increase the love they have for others around them.
