Hi I'm Madison Mosley

I'm an Arizona State University Sun Devil. Aspiring broadcast journalist. Dancer and beat boxer. Athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hola everybody! Future Hermana Mosley here! I have been called to serve in the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission and I couldn't be happier! I'm dippin' out October 9th y'all. The minute I heard about the missionary age change, I knew I had to go. Although I've finally reached the point of wanting to serve a mission and being able to, my journey with the church wasn't an easy one. I had always grown up with the church in my life since I had an uncle who converted when he was about 18. I also grew up with most of my best friends and teachers being members, as well. Therefore, I was always around it; I took part in mutual, Girls Camp, church, the whole shebang. It wasn't until high school that I decided to meet with the missionaries. At that time, I didn't feel like I was doing it for myself and decided to stop meeting with them. Though I had stopped meeting with them, I couldn't ignore the great feelings I got when with them and taking part in other church activities. With that, I decided to give it one last go and got into contact with another companionship of missionaries while attending Arizona State University my freshmen year. I began meeting with these new missionaries and although things were moving so quickly and I had a baptism date set before I knew it, everything fell into place. It wasn't an easy process, having a lot of people including most family against my decision, but I knew that it was right. It was by far the hardest but best decision I've ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, because it's what brings the utmost feeling of happiness and comfort that I could ever imagine, into my life. When I prayed to Heavenly Father for an answer about the truthfulness of this restored gospel, and received that confirmation that it was true, I had to join the church even though I'd have to go through some trials to get there. It was a real test of my faith, but He was there by my side the entire time. I know how it's changed my life for the better and how it can help anyone and I mean anyone, change theirs too. Being what I call myself, a "Momo", is awesome!

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by my actions and how I treat others, our actions speak louder than words. It's important to always be an example to those around us because you never know who could be watching. Showing love always is another big thing. Christ like love is one of the greatest ways we can represent this gospel and influence others.
