Hi I'm Kassi Killian

I grew up in Utah. I'm serving a full time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside in the sunshine and warm weather. I like to ride bikes, go to the park and run around the lake near my house. I am the oldest child out of three daughters. I attend college, studying Behavioral Sciences. I've been on countless competitive swim and dance teams. I love to bake cupcakes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Being a child you go where you parents go, and do what your parents do, but as a teenager my parents and the leaders of the church want the youth to find out for themselves the truthfulness of the gospel. I studied the Book of Mormon, and prayed to know the truthfulness of it. I received and answer to my prayers through the Holy Ghost which put a feeling into my heart that I could not deny that this was the true church. Since then I have friends and family members pass away and my faith continues growing through these struggles. I know that if I follow in the footsteps of my Savior, Jesus Christ that I can live with my family forever. I will one day be able to see my loving Heavenly Father and thank him for providing me a way to return back to his presence. I am truly grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. Without him I would not be able to return to my Heavenly Father. I know that when I make mistakes, which is all the time, that I can repent and try to never do those things again and I have been given a new start. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet who saw and talked with both God and Jesus Christ. He restored Christ's TRUE church to this earth when the time was right and we now have the fullness of Christ's gospel!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary. I am giving 18 months of my life to serve those around me and loving every second of it! I love serving ward members and people who are not of my faith.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Kassi Killian
God is our Father in Heaven. We are his children. His literal children. We are sent to earth to gain experience and knowledge so we can become like our Father in Heaven. Heavenly Father has designed a plan so that we come to earth in families, just like we were in heaven. Families are ordained of God and the most precious social unit on earth. When families live and grow through the gospel, we become much happier. Families love, serve and teach each other. We do not choose our families, but we can choose to make our familiest better, stronger, and of course happier. We can do these things by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe that since families are ordained of God and we are truly blessed because he has given us the opportunity to live with our families here and here after this life! Show more Show less
