Hi I'm Jacob

I was born in Japan, I lived in California, Turkey, Las Vegas, Nebraska, Hungary and Utah. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a military brat. I like to write short stories. I like to hang out with friends. I like politics, history, and philosophy. I like studying other religions and faiths. Oh, I also like to write in my journal. I'm going to college right now at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel that the most important thing in this life is our relationship with God. I believe that we can find real peace in this life when we have a good relationship with our Heavenly Father. As I have studied other faiths and philosophies I have found that my relationship with God is strongest here in this Church.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? Well, very simply put I go to Church each Sunday and try to live the life that God would have me live. But I also live my faith my praying each night, reading the scriptures, and trying to follow the example of Christ by being a kind person to those around me.

What is faith?

Jacob
I believe that faith is trust in God. The more we trust that God is going to do what He says He's going to do the more we can have confidence in His promises and faith in Him. Many times in our lives we think that God is separate from our lives. Many times we believe that there is a God but He doesn't talk too us that much. I can tell you that He not only is there but wants to listen to you as well. We can turn to Him through prayer, which can strengthen our faith. Show more Show less
