Hi I'm Cameron Yentes

I grew up in Tulare CA, I play basketball, I've been called to the Czech/Slovak Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest out of 5 children. My hobbies include any type of sports but mainly basketball. I love to wakeboard and waterski. I also like snow skiing as well. I have graduated from high school and am now going to serve a mission in the Czech/Slovak Mission. When I return from my mission I will attend Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that it is the true Church. My parents were both members of the Church when I was born so I grew up always attending the Church services but one day I realized that I needed to find out for myself if I agree with the Church. From that day on I started taking my Church classes more seriously and started reading my scriptures more frequently and with a purpose. When I finally finished reading my scriptures I knelt down and prayed to my Heavenly Father asking if what I read was true and the feeling that I felt was indescribable. The best way for me to explain was that I felt at peace and I knew that what I had read was true. I also know that if you take the time to seriously study the scriptures and ask questions and pray for yourself, you will receive the same answer that I did.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings regularly and by serving in a leadership role for the youth of my church. I'm like the youth leader so I'm in charge of setting up activities for our youth group like career nights.
