Hi I'm Garrett May

I am currently serving as a missionary. I love pancakes! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

There are a lot of things that I really enjoy. A few examples would be: athletic activities (soccer, volleyball, running, paintball), music (I like lots of different types of music, but am very picky about which songs I listen to), the occasional video game (gotta love Minecraft) and spending time with family and friends. After I serve my mission, I plan on attending BYU in Provo, Utah. I am looking to major in Industrial Design and Engineering...or I might become a seminary teacher! At this point, I'm not really sure. But I am excited to see what the future holds for me.

Why I am a Mormon

This church is THE church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has the fullness of Christ's true gospel. The reason I continue to be an active member of his church, which includes giving up two years to serve a mission in which I will spread that gospel, is because it has given so much to me in my life, and I want to give back. Being a member of this church brings comfort, peace, friendship, joy, and even adventure. I know that this is THE true church, I have been given confirmation by my Heavenly Father, through the Holy Ghost, that is indeed the restored gospel to the Earth. Nothing will change my surety and knowledge of that. And so I want to let others know that if you feel you are missing something in your life, its because you are! You are missing out on the knowledge of your living Savior and his restored church.

How I live my faith

As I am going to be serving a mission soon, I don't have a calling in my ward. For the past two years, however, I have been an assistant to the Bishop, or the leader of our church ward. I helped serve in the 16 - 18 year-old boys youth group. One of my favorite things about my church, the LDS church, is the encouraged fellowship that it brings. I have experienced such an amazing sense of brotherhood with 15 or so other incredible young men that I had the opportunity to learn and grow with. The high school years can be so rough, but I knew that I always had a friend in this awesome quorum of guys.
