Hi I'm Brianna

I grew up in West Valley City, Utah. I'm in college studying Interior Design. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time student working towards my associates in Interior Design. I love what I'm studying and couldn't imagine doing anything else. In my spare time, I love to play the piano and work with my hands doing projects like crocheting and cross-stitching. Completing jigsaw puzzles is something that I love to do during the weekend. I enjoy going to movies with friends and spending time with my family. I often visit my grandparents and visit and while I'm there I love to help them in their garden. I love to babysit and play with children and take them to the park when the weather is nice.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up in the church and was taught the doctrines and principles of the gospel from a young age. But I didn't have a testimony of the gospel until I became a teenager and began to have questions. Being very independent and strong-willed, I thought that I could lean on the testimonies of others and not work to gain one of my own. Witht the encouragement of leaders and Seminary teachers, I humbled myself and began an honest search for the truth. Through prayer and scripture study, I have come to know for myself that this church is the only true church on the earth today. I firmly believe that the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on earth and I know this because I have read it. It wasn't easy gaining this knowledge; Satan was there every step of the way, but I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are mindful of me and are always there to help lift me up and support me. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I have learned true forgiveness. The Atonement has also brought me comfort in times of difficulty. I know with all my heart that Jesus is my Savior and Redeemer and has paved the way for me. He opened the doorway for the Plan of Happiness and I know that I can return to live with Him and Heavenly Father and my family for all time and eternity.

How I live my faith

I've had many callings that have made me active in my wards. In my Young Single Adult ward, I served as organist and loved it. I learned a new skill and I also met new people through the calling. Being a ward missionary also become one of my responsibilities. I often went out meeting people in the ward and inviting them to activities. Right now, my calling is to teach the 14-15 year-olds Sunday School. I go to as many of the activities that the ward provides and get myself involved with the ward members and their families.
