Hi I'm Olivia Bitner

I love soccer. I love people. I love traveling. I love skiing. I believe everything happens for a reason. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played soccer since I was 5 years old on a state, regional and national level. I received a soccer scholarship to college. If I could be outside all the time, I would be. I love skiing, hiking, camping and anything else you can do outside. I love my family more than anything. I love meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds and experiences. I love to travel and I've made it a goal to travel the world someday! I love laughing and believe that a sense of humor is one of the best ways to escape the pressures of every day life. I love watching movies. I think movies trump any T.V. show that ever has or ever will be made. I am grateful for all of the trials I have gone through because they have made me who I am today. I love this gospel with all my heart and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today and if we follow it's teachings, we will find true happiness and peace. I love my Savior more than anything and I will do everything I can to serve him! The church is true!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt that this is the true church. I was born into the church, but the process of gaining my testimony of it and becoming truly converted has been a lifelong process that is still going on. I have always lived the standards set by the church, and the older I have grown, the more I have seen how these simple standards have blessed my life. I am so grateful to Joseph Smith for restoring the full and complete gospel to the earth. I know that he saw exactly what he said he saw and I am so grateful that he sacrificed everything to further the growth of the kingdom of God on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that if one reads it with an open mind and heart, the Holy Ghost will speak to your heart and testify of the truthfulness of it. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, atoned for our sins and I am beyond grateful for the blessing the Atonement is in my life. I love this gospel and I know that every principle and doctrine taught here is from God. I am so blessed to be a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to be obedient in every aspect of my life. I strive to improve each and every day because I know that is how we will eventually become like our Savior. I teach the 5 year olds in primary in my ward and they have taught me more about living my faith than any other calling I've ever had. They have taught me to stick to the basics and to do the little things every day such as saying prayers, reading scriptures, and serving others which will eventually help us get back to our Father in Heaven. I try to see others as Jesus Christ sees them. I treat people the way I want to be treated. I do my best to line up my life with the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
