Hi I'm Benjamin Rosenbaum

Grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. I love to serve others. I'm currently serving a mission in Roseville, California. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 18 years old. Just graduated high school.I'm currently serving a two year LDS Mission in Roseville, California. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. I'm the youngest of my family. I absolutely love playing tennis. I love to run and be active. I'm a die hard college football fan and college basketball fan. I love chilling with my family and friends and having a good time. I love the scouting program and am proud to say I am a eagle scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus of Latter Saints has the fullness of the gospel on the earth today and I know that without a doubt. Joseph Smith was a true prophet on this earth who restored the fullness of the Gospel. I know Joseph Smith knelt down one morning in Palmyra, New York and talked with God the father and Jesus Christ in Person. A couple of summers ago i had the opportunity to visit the sacred grove where God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared. When I walked into that grove I had an overwhelming feeling of peace and comfort. I have never felt something so strong in my life. That was the spirit testifying to me that this church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book. Its another testament of Jesus Christ. And its just as powerful and true as the Bible. I know that today we are led by a true prophet Thomas S. Monson. I know he receives revelation on behalf of us and our church. I know we have the power of revelation on this earth.today and that we can receive personal revelation through President Monson and his apostles. I know that God lives and that he answers prayers. I know that God loves us. God wants us to succeed and is always with us guiding and comforting us. I know that God is almighty and powerful and through him anything is possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting in a way that would be appropriate unto my Heavenly Father. I try to act in a way that will be pleasing unto Him and my family. I try to choose goods friends who have a positive and good influence on me. I don't listen to inappropirate music. I don't swear. I will remain abstinet until marriage. I don't partake of things that will be harmful to my body such as drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. Living this way has been a tremendous blessing in my life. I participate in my ward by serving in many ward callings such as 1st counselor in my priests quorum, I home teach two family in my ward and visit, check up, and help them on a frequent basis. I've also been able to bless the sacrament for my ward. I try to serve the members of my ward as best as i can.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Benjamin Rosenbaum
Sincerely pray to your Heavenly Father and read the Book of Mormon. Ask him if what you know is true. God will answer your prayer but in his own time and will. Be patient and don't be discouraged. Try living the commandments and see if you notice a difference in your own life. Listen with your heart for an ansawer. Show more Show less
