Hi I'm Natalie Nicole Flaten

I was born and raised in Austin Texas. I'm preparing to serve a full-time mission in California. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Texas and the Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. I have two loving parents and two older sisters. I am very grateful for my dad, he is my closest friend and confidant at times. I love to paint and I absolutely love long walks. I love art, I love to enjoy it and to try my hand at creating it. One of my favorite quotes I live by is Dieter F Utchforf’s “The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.” I also strive to live by the firm belief that the world is always full of beauty and that there is every reason to be optimistic.

Why I am a Mormon

My hope is to think, act and speak in a manner that glorifies the God I love. I want to bear my testimony with my life. I love Him, and I strive to show my love for Him by serving others. I recently received my call to serve as a full time missionary in the San Francisco Oakland California Mission. I am brimming with anticipation and excitement to serve and share the gospel that has blessed my life so richly! I can say in perfect honesty that I am happy. I know who I am. I know where I’m going. I love my life. I love my Savior. And I’m [grateful to be] a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The lasting joy and confidence that comes from growing a relationship with our Savior is incomparable to any other promise of happiness the world can offer. The truth and light of this gospel has filled my life with happiness and meaning. I know that my Savior loves me and that He loves all His Children. His love and power can change and transform every heart, mind and soul. I know that He walked the earth and taught the same truths that are taught in this very church today.
